Recommended Software for Si-Through-HR Microscope

 

The USB camera included with the Si-Through-HR microscope from Jay Photonics is compatible with a variety of software options, giving you the flexibility to choose the one that best suits your needs.

We currently recommend the following software options:
  • Jay Photonics Imaging Software (Beta)
  • Third-Party Imaging Software (AmScope) — We are authorized to provide access to the official AmScope software download. No additional activation is required. Use of the software is subject to AmScope’s end-user license terms.

To download the AmScope software, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the AmScope software download page.
  2. Under "Step 1. Select your product," click the camera image tab.
  3. In "Step 2. Select your model#," scroll through the menu and select the model "HD408."
  4. Click the "Windows download" button for the software version v4.11.21973 (other versions may not be compatible).
  5. Once the download is complete, open the software and select your USB camera to get started.
